COVENANT RENEWAL WORSHIP

Our main Lord’s Day service is liturgical, joyful, and reverent.

The minister is normally robed, and the service follows a covenant-renewal pattern established by our Lord.

Each service includes:

1. Call

God calls His people to worship.

2. Cleansing

Confession of sin and declaration of forgiveness.

3. Confession of allegiance

Public profession of faith, including one of the historic creeds.

4. Consecration

Scripture readings, Psalm singing, and preaching.

5. Collection

Tithes and offerings, intercessory prayers, and the Lord’s Prayer.

6. Communion

The Lord’s Supper, with thanksgiving and distribution of bread and wine.

7. Commission

Benediction and dismissal into the world.

These are the seven C's of covenant renewal worship!

You will also find...

  • Weekly communion is our normal practice.
  • Singing or chanting the Psalms is central to our worship.
  • All baptized Christians in good standing with the Church are welcome at the Lord’s Table.

Families with young children

We warmly encourage families with young children to remain in the service from beginning to end, as children are a valued part of our worship together.

However, if at any point you need to step out with your child, a comfortable room with some books and toys is available at the back of the church for your use.
