We believe the message of Jesus is good news for everyone—bringing forgiveness, hope, and the promise of restored lives, renewed communities, and a world made whole.
In Jesus our sins have been nailed to the cross and we have peace with God.
Now we look in faith to a future in which Jesus' reign on earth will be seen more and more with every year that passes!
+ Worship with Us
We meet every Sunday at 10:30am in Affetside Congregational Chapel, Watling Street, BL8 3QW.
The service is followed with tea/coffee and biscuits. It's a good opportunity to catch up on the week with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
If you are coming by car parking is available on the church grounds.
If you are travelling by bus, the 480 Bee Network service stops directly outside the chapel.

Confess the Faith
We meet on the edge of Bolton and Bury in the picturesque village of Affetside in the North West of England.
We joyfully confess the Christian faith handed down in the historic creeds and affirmed by the early councils of the Church.
The climax of every Lord's day service is Communion, where everyone who bears the name of Christ—young and old—is welcome.
We want to be a people shaped by the Bible, learning together how God’s Word speaks into everyday life, and sharing His love with our neighbours near and far.
